About the Event

EVENT FLYER

This is the Troop’s annual week at summer camp! Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco has provided a premium Scouting experience for the Boy Scouts in the New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania area continuously since 1927. The camp borders the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area and is right on the Appalachian Trail. All of the facilities are inspected and certified by the BSA and the State of New Jersey.

Many COVID precautions will be taken and the camp is working to make every aspect as safe as possible. A COVID check in procedure is being finalized by the Council and Camp Director which will be communicated to the Troop as soon as it is received.

· Great Food · Excellent Program   · A Spirited and Dedicated Staff

· Over 52 Merit badges offered, including Welding and Horsemanship Merit Badge!

· Programs for older Scouts including mountain bikes, climbing wall and the Ocsobebon!

· The camp location is on the edge of the Appalachian Trail and The Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.

Merit Badges

Merit Badge schedules can be found here.  Mr. Olson is more than happy to discuss merit badge choices with each scout and how to make good choices for what to take at camp. All scouts should email Mr. Olson at jimolson04@gmail.com with their merit badge choices.

Tents

There will be 1 or 2 scouts to a tent this year.  All scouts should send their tent mate requests to Mr. Gonzalez by email at regonzalez@gmail.com.

For a packing list, please go here.

Medical

BSA Medical forms, parts A, B and C, as well as the Covid and bug spray/sunscreen waivers are due to Sara Donohue. Contact her at medicalst97@gmail.com.  Medications should be in the original, labeled containers. See the NOBE medicine form that should be with the medication your scout is bringing to camp.

Assistant Scoutmasters who are interested in spending all or part of the week at camp should contact Mr. Olson. The number of adults at camp is capped by NoBeBosCo and depends on the number of Scouts at camp for the week.
