We utilize a two step process to register and pay for trips and events. Click the register now button (or the alternate link) to go to our registration form. When done, submit the form and a link will be available to make your payment for the event.

20 Mile Hike, June 9, 2018

The Wallkill Valley Rail Trail extends more then 20 miles between Kingston and
Gardiner along the route of an old Wallkill Valley Railroad, which in the late 1800s,
carried produce from Ulster County farms to New York City, as well as passengers
through the Hudson Valley.

Join us for our June Court of Honor which will include formal recognition of all advancements, merit badges and special awards earned since our last Court of Honor. All scouts and Adult Leaders are expected to attend. Please invite your families. Dinner and Dessert will be served.

Project Oceanology – June 23-24, 2018

Delve into hands-on, minds-on marine science under the guidance of professional marine scientists and educators. Science will take on new meaning as you roll up your sleeves, get your hands wet and have fun.

Summer Camp at NoBeBoSco July 1 – July 7, 2018

This is the Troop’s annual week at summer camp. For more information, visit http://nobebosco.org/. Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco has provided a premium Scouting experience for the Boy Scouts in the New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania area continuously since 1927. The camp borders the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area and is right on the Appalachian Trail. All of the facilities are inspected and certified by the BSA and the State of New Jersey.

Deadline to register – Extended!  Please email Brian if you are unable to register. 
Cost – $435 if paid by April 11, $480 if paid after 4/11 (except for new scouts;  $435 for new scouts anytime)
Payment is in person only to Charlene Matteson, Todd Steingart or Brian Colton.

Schooner Trip Aboard The American Eagle – 2nd VOYAGE ADDED!

August 21 – August 25

Because of the overwhelming response we received for the schooner trip I am pleased to announce we have added a second cruise for 2018.

Both cruises will be for 5 days and 4 nights – living and working aboard a vintage schooner off the coast of Maine. This was a great adventure in 2011 and 2015, and is an incredible opportunity for the scouts to experience life aboard a century old windjammer as she sets off to sea.

By reducing the length of the trips by one day the costs per person is reduced to $700 which includes all meals, accommodations and crew shirt.

Please select your trip preference below when responding. We will do our best to accommodate the date you have selected but understand there are a limited number of berths onboard.

New deadline to register is December 31st – Those of you who responded back in November please register again and select your preferred date.

Trip #1:

Board: Friday August 17th – Return Tuesday, August 21st

Trip #2:
5 days / 4 nights

Board Tuesday, August 21st – Return Saturday, August 25th

**Cost: $700 payable by check to Troop 97 as follows:
