Biking Beach to Beach - Keep Summer Alive

Appx 5 mile (each way) bike ride from Nyack Beach to Haverstraw Beach and back. This rail trail will take us along the Hudson River, traversing picturesque landscapes between the Palisades cliffs and the water’s edge. 

Scouts should bring a good working bike, helmet, water bottles or hydration bladder (3 liters total), lunch/snacks, personal first aid kit, sunscreen/bug spray if needed, and rain gear (be prepared). Total mileage: 10 miles on relatively flat paved or stone-dust terrain. There are some sections of incline closer to Haverstraw.
