Logan Hurler Eagle Workday #3

The project will be benefiting Children Of Promise Stable in Nanuet. COPS is a horseback riding stable that provides equine assisted therapy to children and adults with disabilities. The goal of the project is to improve and maintain some activity stations along the riding trails behind the barn.

The project consists of sanding and staining some of the wooden structures, adding some color, and doing some minor landscaping. In addition, I plan to update a station that is no longer being used. Using PVC pipes, we will be creating a ball drop maze activity.

The first workday will consist of pulling up dead weeds, raking, and starting to sand the wooden structures. While the majority of scouts will be sanding, we will also be digging a hole for a mailbox, and pouring concrete if time allows. More updates of the plans for future work days will be emailed to those who RSVP.
