About the Event
The Nyack Homeless Project (NHP) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) grass-roots, non-sectarian volunteer group that encourages children, teens, adults and their communities to directly make a difference by aiding those in need during the cold days of winter.
Troop 97, along with other volunteers from the community, will be unloading and organizing food donations that are dropped off that morning to the event, and then loading food and winter clothing into vehicles driven by people from the various shelters and community centers the Nyack Homeless Project serves.
Equipment / Gear Required: Please wear comfortable clothing and dress for the weather; this is an outdoor event. Bring drinking water
