Spring '25 10-Mile Hike

Let’s welcome Spring with refreshing 10 Mile Hike. We will be starting at Lake Skannatati in Harriman State Park along Seven Lakes Drive. 

Saturday: The group will meet by the trailer at the Germonds parking lot at 7:30 AM, departure is at 7:45. All scouts must have a ride to and from the trailhead unless arrangements are made in advance.

We plan to start our hike by 8:30, and figuring in speed and breaks end by 2:00 pm. Please be at the trailhead to pick up your scout by 2:30.

We will head west on the Long Path, passing Cape Horn, Hogencamp Mtn, Times Square, and Ship Rock. We will hike on Lichen Trail, which has great vistas and seasonal blueberry bushes. We will go through Lemon Squeezer, and along the Appalachian Trail, pass by Fingerboard Shelter, and back on the Red Trail to the far side of Lake Askoti.
