Saturday, November 5th, 2022, 9:45am – 9:00pm with optional cabin camping Saturday night for those interested
Meet us at the Paul Bunyan Parking Lot or Tri-Corner Campsite
This is an opportunity for boys and girls to learn more about the fun activities BSA scouting offers. All boys and girls, ages 11-17 and/or WEBELOS I and II scouts and their parents are welcome to join us
Sample of Activities:
Fire starting/building, knife use/safety, tracking, trailing, hiking, foil oven cooking, games,
campfire skits and songs.
Food for Guests
Saturday lunch and Sunday breakfast - scout patrols will be providing food for the scout guests and Troop Adult Leaders will be providing food for the parents.
Saturday night dinner – We ask that guests all (parents and scouts) bring foil packs and the Adult troop Leaders will coordinate the cooking of the dinners with the Webelos scouts to help them meet their cooking requirements. **
Saturday night dessert - We will be providing desserts around campfire time
What to Wear
Plan on spending the entire time outdoors, so check weather and dress appropriately. Consider bringing additional layers as well as hat and gloves and closed toe shoes. If cabin camping, please appropriate gear for fall camping, cabin should be warm as there is a woodstove. Please bring tin foil meal for Saturday dinner, pocketknife and flint and steel (if you have). If you need more specifics, please contact us below as we will be happy to further guide you
